KIA Invitational Golf Tournament
With the HOT summer months here and continuing up to fall, KCAA Muriel Preschool is hoping the KIA Invitational Golf Tournament will provide funds to cool their classrooms, while hoping to keep the sound of construction from sleeping keiki. The Tournament will be held Wednesday, August 17th at Pearl Country Club from 12:30pm.
If you have not yet formed a team, decided on a sponsorship, or donate door prizes, please make your decision soon. The keiki are hoping you will be an important part of the tournament. The Honolulu Design Center will be hosting a FREE Movie Night in their Loft Showroom on the third floor of 1250 Kapiolani Boulevard on Thursday, August 18th. The movie featured will be Sketches of Frank Gehry. There will be complimentary popcorn served, and drinks available for purchase. KIA member Territorial Savings Bank is inviting KIA members to a Mayoral Forum scheduled for Friday, August 5th from 6pm, at New Hope Oahu, one of the sponsors (260 Sand Island Access Road). All thirteen candidates vying of the office of Mayor of the City and County of Honolulu has been invited to participate.
Howard Dicus, from Hawaii News Now, will moderate the event, which will the the candidates an opportunity to discuss issues relevant to the business community. The sponsoring organizations include the Kaimuki Business & Professional Association, the Kahala Business Association, and the Kalihi Business Association.
