Historic Ala Moana Pumping Station

  1. Board member, Steven Sullivan of Shidler Pacific Advisors, LLC, says that plans are almost finalized for the Kakaako Community Cleanup for Saturday, April 20th. Volunteers are needed; and if you would like to assist with the cleanup for a fun filled community service project, please RSVP with Steven Sullivan at ssullivan@shidler.com or call 532-4751. Snacks and refreshments will be provided. Volunteers will meet at Mother Waldron Park at 8:00 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. And the event ends at Waterfront Plaza (South Street Gazebo) at approximately 10:30 to 11:00 a.m.
  2. HART made a presentation to the Board at their March meeting (see article and picture on page 2).
  3. The “Hele On Kakaako” will have a 1.5 mile of roadway closed on Mother’s Day, May 12th from 10am to 4pm to promote healthy lifestyle information. There will also be a “Complete Street” demonstration on Cooke Street for three blocks (Ala Moana to Halekauwila). More info on page 2.
