Prior to his working at Kamehameha Schools, Gary was the Senior VP Property Management Colliers International from 2011-2015, worked for Bishop Square Management from 2004-2011, and APCOA/Standard Parking from 1988-2004. The Children’s Discovery Center has lost a great leader and volunteer when Loretta Yajima passed away in November. She championed the Center from the ground up, loved seeing the keiki enjoying themselves throughout the Center, and always thought of ways to make the experience better for families. Sherry Goya, KIA Executive Director, has been a long-time member, taking her now ten-year-old granddaughter and soon to introduce her nine-month old grandson to the Center. Almost every time Sherry visited the Center, Loretta came down to visit. She will be missed by many who knew her. KIA members may make a donation on her behalf at www.discoverycenterhawaii.org/donations.
