KIA Invitational Golf Tournament

The KIA Invitational Golf Tournament, held on Friday, May 20th at the Pearl Country Club, was a success due to the leadership of Kurt Murata, Chairman, and his committee consisting of Allen Akiona, Cynthia Arnold, Tammy Bahn-Kreis, Gary Evora, Cora Gibo, Sherry Goya, Jared Kashiwabara, Kelton Kato, Stanford Ono, Terri Miyazu, Nicole Nakano and Peterson Rosario. Work began in November 2021 and culminated with a critique meeting on May 25th.

The real winner of the tournament was KCAA Muriel Preschool, as they received $10,000 from the Kakaako Improvement Association to upgrade their playground. The keiki will be able to enjoy the outdoors more when plans are complete.

KCAA Muriel Preschool, provided all the course volunteers at the tournament and also the BIG basket of wines, cheeses, fruits and candies for the raffle drawing at the On-and-Off Hole.
